Iam planning to blog about this krishna jayanthi and Vinayaga chaturthis for a long time.
we are always curious to celebrate festivals and poojas at home as it brings a sense of satisfaction.moreover since ashu has got his surname as krishna we are delighted to do the celebration.
Last year (2006) it was on our marathahalli house and this year its on our new apartment and this was the first time we celebrated krishna jayanthi in our new home.
we did morukku ,thattai at home and some sweets were bought :-) from Adayar Anand Bhavan.
I took an optional holiday and on that day morning i felt like i should prepare some sweet on my own.
so i called my mom to know the proceedure for preparing Mysore Pak.
yes i got the recipe and i started doing it as per my moms instruction ,To my surprise It came well and every bdy praised it ,which i myself cant believe till now.
The only thing which iam not happy with the sweet is its more crisper ,i think i should have poured more ghee any ,wil implement it in the next attempt,what u say?
Last year aswath was dressed up like lord krishna,this year i didnt do any spl dressing for him as i prepared sundal at evening and was very busy in making the arrangements for pooja.
